NightcadeFM runs a chat bot so viewers can bet play money on matches. To do that it remembers who placed which bet. That is the whole of it: no tracking, no advertising, nothing sold or shared.

What is stored

When you use a bot command such as !bet or !balance on Kick or YouTube, the bot stores:

• your account's ID number on that platform, which is how your balance stays yours if you change your name;
• your display name, so the overlay and leaderboard can show who bet;
• your play-money balance, and the bets you place, with their amounts, the match, and the time.

Nothing else from your chat message is kept. Messages that are not bot commands are read to see whether they are commands, and then discarded.

What is not stored

• No email address, password, phone number or payment details — the bot never asks for any and could not use them.
• No conversations. Ordinary chat is not recorded.
• No cookies or analytics on this website. It is a plain page.
• No real money, ever. The balances have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn.

Where it lives

The data sits in a file on the computer that runs the stream, in the operator's home, not on a rented server. It is not shared with anyone, not sold, and not used for advertising.

Your display name and bet amounts are shown on the stream itself, which is public — that is the point of the leaderboard — but nothing else about you is.

The platforms

Chat reaches the bot through Kick's and YouTube's own systems, so their privacy policies cover what they collect from you. The bot only receives what you type in chat and the account name and ID attached to it.

How long it is kept

Your balance and betting history are kept while the stream runs, so the leaderboard means something over time. Ask for them to be deleted and they will be.

Deleting your data

Email hello@nightcade.fm from any address and say which platform and which chat name is yours. Your account, balance and bets will be removed, normally within a few days. You can keep watching and betting afterwards; you would simply start again at the usual 1,000.

Age

This is not gambling and no money changes hands, but the platforms have their own minimum ages and those apply here too.

Changes

If what the bot stores ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
